Typeface Design

Typefaces were made to have original appearance and feel. These specific fonts were created with the purpose to be used as display fonts.  The ileco font was created with the concept of the circle in mind with most letters featuring or using the curves of the circle as the base image. As well all lines are made to have the same proportions throughout the entire letter to create a bolder more solid shape. The scrixel font was based on the angled counter of the letters, this was to create a forward feeling direction while also creating a spinning coin feel. The pixel design to based on retro video games.
